1. About These Terms

These Terms of Service apply to the Fête Studios website, app, event pages, galleries, live photo wall tools, payment flows and related services available at https://fete.studio and any Fête Studios subdomains.

By creating an event, joining an event, uploading content, viewing a gallery or using any part of the service, you agree to these terms. If you use Fête Studios on behalf of a business, venue, brand or event organiser, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for them.

2. Who We Are

Fête Studios provides digital event tools that help organisers collect guest photos and videos, curate live displays, manage event galleries and preserve event memories.

3. The Service

Fête Studios lets organisers create an event, choose settings, generate a guest QR code, invite guests to upload photos or videos, approve content for display, operate a live photo wall and release a gallery after the event.

Some features may be free, paid, limited by guest tier or available only for certain events. We may improve, change, pause or remove features where needed to keep the service reliable, secure or commercially practical.

4. Organisers

If you create or manage an event, you are responsible for the event details, guest invitations, gallery settings, live wall settings, content approvals and how the service is used at your event.

You should make sure guests understand that photos and videos may be uploaded, moderated, displayed during the event and shared in a gallery afterwards. If your event is public, commercial, branded or filmed in a sensitive setting, you are responsible for making sure you have the permissions and notices you need.

5. Guests and Uploaded Content

Guests may be able to upload photos, videos, names, social handles and other event content. You must only upload content that you have the right to share and that does not breach anyone else's privacy, intellectual property rights or legal rights.

You must not upload content that is unlawful, abusive, hateful, sexually explicit, exploitative, invasive, misleading, malicious, spammy or likely to harm another person. We may remove or restrict content where we believe it breaches these terms, creates risk for Fête Studios or creates risk for another person.

6. Rights You Give Us

You keep ownership of the photos, videos and other content you upload. By uploading content, you give Fête Studios permission to host, store, process, resize, display, transmit, moderate and make that content available as needed to provide the service.

You also give the event organiser permission to view, approve, display, download and share your uploaded content through the event gallery and related event tools, according to the organiser's event settings.

7. Live Photo Walls and Galleries

Live photo walls and galleries are designed to celebrate the event in real time and after the event. Organisers can decide what appears publicly, what stays private and when the gallery is released.

We do not guarantee that every upload will appear on a live wall or gallery. Content may be delayed, removed, blocked, hidden or unavailable because of moderation choices, technical issues, connection problems, file limits or safety checks.

8. Accounts and Security

If you create an account, you must provide accurate information and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity that happens through your account, unless it is caused by our failure to take reasonable care.

If you believe your account, event link, admin link or gallery has been accessed without permission, contact us as soon as possible.

9. Payments, Event Tiers and Refunds

Paid events, guest tiers, upgrades and add-ons will be shown before checkout. Prices may vary by event size, feature set, currency, tax treatment or promotional offer.

Where consumer cancellation rights apply, those rights apply as required by law. Because Fête Studios provides digital services for time-sensitive events, your cancellation or refund rights may be affected once you ask us to begin providing the service, create an event, generate event access, accept uploads or otherwise start using paid features.

If something goes wrong with payment, access or event setup, contact us at hello@fete.studio and we will try to resolve it fairly.

10. Availability and Changes

We work to keep Fête Studios available, but we do not promise uninterrupted access. The service may be affected by maintenance, updates, outages, network issues, third-party services, device problems or events outside our reasonable control.

We may update the service and these terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to make it clear. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the updated terms.

11. Privacy and Data

Our use of personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy. Fête Studios may process names, contact details, social handles, uploaded media, event information, payment information, device information and usage information to provide and protect the service.

Organisers are responsible for how they invite guests, how they explain the event gallery to guests, and how they use downloaded or exported content after it leaves Fête Studios.

12. Intellectual Property

Fête Studios, the Fête name, visual design, software, website, app, branding, templates, layouts and platform features belong to Fête Studios or our licensors. You may not copy, reverse engineer, resell, misuse or interfere with the service.

You may use the QR codes, event pages and gallery links we provide for your own event, subject to these terms.

13. Acceptable Use

You must not misuse the service, attempt to access accounts or events without permission, overload our systems, bypass security, scrape the service, introduce malware, impersonate others or use Fête Studios for unlawful activity.

You must not use Fête Studios to collect or share sensitive content without appropriate permission, especially where children, vulnerable people, private homes, workplaces, medical settings or restricted venues are involved.

14. Third-Party Services

Fête Studios may rely on third-party services for hosting, payments, analytics, storage, email, QR scanning, social links or other platform features. Those services may have their own terms and privacy notices.

We are not responsible for third-party websites, devices, networks, venues, screens, projectors or services that we do not control.

15. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so. Subject to that, Fête Studios is not responsible for indirect losses, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of goodwill, loss of data caused by factors outside our reasonable control, or issues caused by misuse of the service.

Our total liability for a paid event will not exceed the amount paid to Fête Studios for that event, unless a different limit is required by law.

16. Ending Access

We may suspend or end access to the service, an account, event, gallery or upload if we believe these terms have been breached, if use of the service creates risk, or if we need to protect guests, organisers, Fête Studios or third parties.

You may stop using the service at any time. If you want an event or account deleted, contact us and we will handle the request in line with our privacy and retention practices.

17. Governing Law

These terms are intended to be governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless mandatory local consumer laws give you additional rights that cannot be excluded.
